Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for Project Assistant under ICMR Project at NIB.
1. Position : Project Assistant
2. No of post : 01
3. Qualification & Experience:Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Life Science/Biotechnology from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks secured.
4. Desirable Qualification: Hands-on experience nucleic acid extraction and PCR. Fluency in English and Microsoft Office knowledge.
5. Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- per month fixed
6. Name of the Project: "Harmonization of COVID-19 RT-PCR kits Efficiency Data towards Enhancing their specificity and sensitivity for different strains of SARS- cov2".
7. Duration: 03 years. This service is co-terminus with the project.

1. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) is an APEX autonomous Institute under the administrative control of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India engaged in Quality Control Evaluation of various biological products like vaccines, blood products, blood reagents, sera, Immuno-diagnostic kits etc. produced and imported in to India. The Institute is spread over an area of 18.4 acres of land with various buildings have already been constructed in the Campus. It was set up in 1992 as a society (vide No. S-22590) under the Societies Registration Act 1860, for Quality Control of indigenously produced and imported biological products. Initially financial assistance in setting up the institute was provided by USAID and OECF - Japan.
