Applications are invited for the project post mentioned below on contractual basis from the eligible candidates in the prescribed proforma appended. 1. Post Name: Research Associate-Ill 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Salary: Rs. 54,000/pm + HRA (27%) 4. Duration: 10 months 5. Place of Posting: ICMR- National Institute of Medical Statistics (NIMS), New Delhi 6. Essential Qualification(s): Ph.D in Population Studies/ Demography OR Having three years of health research experience after Master degree in Population Studies/ Demography. At least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. 7. Desirable: Having experience in advanced statistics modelling techniques using statistical software like R, STATA Prior experience of analyzing large scale survey data such as NFHS, NSSO, IHDS, Census etc. Prior experience of constructing data file based on multiple data sources 1. Post Name: Research Associate-Ill 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Salary: Rs. 54,000/pm + HRA (27%) 4. Duration: 10 months 5. Place of Posting: One year (May be extended on satisfactory performance and continuation of the project) 6. Essential Qualification(s): Ph.D. in Population Studies/ Demography/ Public Health OR Having three years of health research experience after Master degree in Public Health/ Population Studies/ Demography with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index 7. Desirable: Additional Post-doctoral research/ training experience in disease modelling. Strong knowledge of application of statistical software R, STATA Prior experience of disease burden estimation/ projection Prior experience of spatial analysis using different methods for disease modelling Prior experience of analyzing large scale surveys including NFHS Prior experience of conducing systematic reviews At least one/ two publication either as a fist author or corresponding author in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal 1. Essential Qualification(s): Ph.D in Population Studies/ Demography OR Having three years of health research experience after Master degree in Population Studies/ Demography. At least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. 7. Desirable: Having experience in advanced statistics modelling techniques using statistical software like R, STATA Prior experience of analyzing large scale survey data such as NFHS, NSSO, IHDS, Census etc. Prior experience of constructing data file based on multiple data sources Strong scientific writing skills for manuscript and study report preparation. Experience in analyzing COVID- 19 related data At least one/ two publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal as a fist or corresponding author

Selection Procedure
1. Canvassing and bringing inside or outside influence in any form for short listing and Employment will be treated as a disqualification and the candidate will be debarred from selection process.
2. Submission of incorrect or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
3. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification / experience does not guarantee selection.

2. In proof of his/her educational qualifications [all certificates and mark-sheets from 10th Std. onwards], working experience, age, caste, EWS Certificates as applicable and photo id [Aadhar card/ Indian passport/ PAN card/ driving license] etc. on the email: [email protected] within the scheduled date and time for submission of applications i.e., on or before April 20, 2022 up to 17.00 hrs., failing which his/her candidature will not be considered.
3. Late/ Delayed/ Incomplete/ Unsigned applications will not be considered and rejected straight away without any correspondence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit their application well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of applications.
4. Applications received within the stimulated date, time and complete in all respects will only be screened by the screening committee of ICMR-NIMS to shortlist candidates for further process of engaging the above scientific project human resource positions.
5. Candidature of successful candidates shall be subject to verification of all original documents by ICMR-NIMS and fulfillment of required eligibility criteria in all respect of qualifications, age and experience, etc.

ICMR-National Institute for Research in Digital Health supports excellence in the development, application through the technical consultation and research, education, publications, dissemination and advocacy. Our members serve in government and academia, advancing research and promoting sound practice to inform public policy and improve human welfare.
It is one of the 26 permanent institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi and has been known as National Institute for Research in Digital Health and Data Science(NIRDHDS) from 10th April 2024. The erstwhile National Institute for Research in Medical Statistics (NIMS) came into existence in the year 2005 before it known as Institute for research in medical statistics(IRMS) came into existence in the year 1977 the mandate to provide technical expertise on research methodology, programme evaluation, mathematical modelling, data analysis etc. It also provides technical assistance to institutes throughout india.
The tremendous involvement in the areas of medical digital health , bio-medical and bio-behavioral research, surveillance of communicable and non-communicable diseases, epidemiology, nutrition research, reproductive and child health and cancer research necessitated the renaming of the IRMS as NIMS and NIMS as NIRDHDS. The move enhanced not only the status of the Institute but also enabled it to develop e-database of health sector reforms in India apart from strengthening its resources base and capacity building.
