Applications is invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up the post of “Research Associate” on contract basis for the Alzheimer Association funded project entitled “Moving Pictures: Using Digital Media to improve Dementia Care in India”- under Dr.Santosh Loganathan, Professor, Dept. of psychiatry & Principal Investigator.

1. Name of the Post: Research Associate

2. No. of Post: One

3. Essential qualification: M.Phil. OR Ph.D in behavioral sciences (Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work and Counselling).

4. Desirable qualification: Candidates with experience in mental health education, working with digital media, qualitative & quantitative research, clinical experience of working with family members of chronic mental illness are preferred. Candidates must be able to read and write Kannada fluently and have good English speaking and writing skills.

5. Work location: National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru and in the community within Bengaluru city.

6. Emoluments: Rs.40,000/- to Rs.50,000/- consolidated pay depending on the candidates experience and qualification.

7. Duration of the project: 3 years. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months which will be extendable at the end of every six months till the end of the project, depending on the performance of the candidate.
