Educational Qualification: Project Scientist-I: Candidates having M.Tech (Engineering or Technology) or Ph.D. (awarded) degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Plant Molecular Biology or any other related field and as mentioned in DST office memorandum number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020, are eligible to apply. The candidate should have an excellent academic record (with a minimum 60% marks throughout their education) and research experience. At least one first-authored publication in a peer-reviewed international journal is desirable. Preference will be given to a candidate with experience in the field of Bioinformatics & genomics. Project Associate-I: Candidates having M.Sc./M.Tech degree (with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from class 10th onwards) in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Botany/Computer Sciences or any other branch of life science.
