Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Guest Faculty
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
- Specialization: Power System Engineering, Power Electronics.
- Experience: Experience of teaching, if any, as stated in the bio-data/CV to be produced at the time of the interview.
Salary / Stipend
- Ph.D. Holders: Rs. 1,500/- per class subject to a maximum of Rs. 60,000/- per month.
- Non-Ph.D. (if applicable): Rs. 1,000/- per class subject to a maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month.
- Note: Lab/tutorial classes of 02 contact hours duration will be treated as 01 contact hour for honorarium.

Selection Process
Selection will be through a Walk-in-interview for the engagement of temporary Guest Faculty. No separate interview call letter will be sent.

The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh (NIT Arunachal Pradesh) was inaugurated on 18th August 2010 as a proud member of a group of ten new NITs established across the nation. These institutions were founded as centers of excellence in technical education to address the growing need for skilled technological professionals in India, contributing significantly to national development and public welfare. NIT Arunachal Pradesh began its journey under the mentorship of NIT Durgapur, ensuring a strong academic foundation from its inception.
Leadership and Academic Journey
On 1st November 2011, the institute moved into a new phase of independent operation when its first permanent Director, Prof. (Dr.) Chandan Tilak Bhunia, assumed charge. The institute initially operated from a hired building at Yupia, district Papumpare, serving as its temporary site while construction on the permanent campus progressed.
