Eligibility for Ophthalmologist
- Essential Qualification:
- MBBS from a recognized Medical Institution/University.
- Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology (M.S) / DNB in Ophthalmology, OR Diploma in Ophthalmology.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Competency in Small Incision Cataract Surgery/Phacoemulsification.
- Trained in other sub-specialities (Cornea, Glaucoma, and Medical Retina).
- Exposure in Community Ophthalmology with experience in holding Community Screening and Eye Health Education.
- Age Limit: Not more than 45 years.
