National Institute of Technology Raipur (NITRR) has released a notification for the recruitment of Research Associate-III on a contractual basis. This recruitment is for a sponsored project titled "Towards Smart Railway: Automated Bearing Defect Detection using Acoustic-Visual Sensing and Deep Learning" under the sponsorship of Wagon Repair Shop (SECR).

Vacancy Details

Eligibility for Research Associate-III (RA-III)

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Application/Computer Science OR having 3 years of research, teaching, and development experience after M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Application/Computer Science/Electrical Engg. with at least one research paper published in Science Citation Index (SCI) or SCIE journal. Note: GATE/NET qualified candidates are preferable.
• Experience: 3 years of research/teaching/development experience required if holding M.E./M.Tech.
• Desirable: Candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Signal Processing, Article/Patent Writing, and Python Programming will be given preference.

Salary/Stipend

Consolidated Fellowship: ₹ 67,000/- + 20% HRA (Per Month)

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a Written Test followed by an Interview. The selection process will be conducted In-person or Online. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the examination or interview.
