Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Essential Qualification: M. Sc./M. Tech. in Physics / Applied Physics / Materials Science / Nanoscience / Nanotechnology and other related areas. Candidate should have qualified NET/GATE with a consistently good academic record (at least 60% marks in M.Sc.).
• Desirable: Knowledge of programming languages such as MATLAB/Mathematica is desirable.
• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who are working in the field of the project-related area.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years.
• Relaxation in age will be as per Government of India (GoI) norms (SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).

Selection Process

Selection will be based on an interview.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted to appear in the interview.
• Candidates must appear offline for the interview with a copy of their CV and all relevant original certificates (along with a set of photocopies).
• The Selection committee reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for the interview.
