Applications are invited on prescribed format (On-line) for the temporary post of “Intern” for the “Centre of Excellence on Public Health Nutrition.” Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology Rourkela.

4. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: UNICEF
5. Tenure of the Project: 4 Years (05-02-2019 to 04-02-2023)
6. Tenure of the Assignment: 1 Year
7. Job Description:
a) Support the organization of campaign related activities including but not limited to creation of audio content, video content, stories of COVID warriors, youth volunteers etc.
b) Work closely with media houses to ensure the content is widely disseminated in the state.
c) Document stories from the campaign for publication on UNICEF website.
d) Support the planning, organization and execution of the COVID campaign.
e) Generate story ideas/content pieces and coordinate the participation of programme sections in the campaign.
f) Ensure coordination with stakeholders including Mo College, youth groups, NYKS, nursing association etc for participation in the campaign and dissemination of campaign materials.
g) Create and update database of journalists and network with media contacts for UNICEF’s participation in media for dissemination of COVID related messages.
8. Consolidated monthly Salary/ Fellowship: Rs. 55,000./- per month
9. Essential Qualifications and experience: Master in Mass communication/Journalism/Economics/ /Sociology/ Population Studies/ Psychology/ or related subjects.
10. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Work Experience of Minimum 3years.

Selection Procedure
1. Written Test and Personal Interview
2. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project. The Shortlisted candidates called for the interview will be intimated by 15th December 2021.
