NIT Rourkela Invites Application for State Coordinator Recruitment 2021

Applications are invited on prescribed format (On-line) for the temporary post of “State Consultant: M&E Knowledge Management – 01(ONE)” for the “Centre of Excellence on PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITION, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology Rourkela.

2. Name of the Research Project: CoE-PHN

3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: UNICEF

4. Tenure of the Project: 4 Years(05.02.2019-04.02.2023)

5. Tenure of the Assignment: 1 Year

6. Job Description:

a. Capacity building on CPMIS (Sishu Suchana other MIS portals related to children)

b. Support OSCPS, DCPU, CCI and statutory Bodies in rolling out of MIS Software developed to monitor the child protection.

c. Strengthening the State Data Management.

d. Support in development of MIS- Ending child marriage and adolescent empowerment

e. Technical support to Secretariat of Hon'ble Juvenile Justice Committee, High Court of the state in monitoring implementation of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 in state of Odisha as and when required.

f. Work with DWCD in convergence and coordination with other line departments such as Police/Home Department, Health, Education and other concerned departments to strengthen the CP data management system.

g. Development of quarterly progress report of OSCPS based on the data entered by the districts CP functionaries.

h. Support in development of a MIS on Orphan Census and aftercare care program with the technical resource agency

i. The consultant will work in coordination with the MIS resource agencies engaged in development of CPMIS in the state.

j. The consultant will provide and update information data in national level MIS of ICPS.

7. Consolidated monthly Salary/ Fellowship: 70,000./- per month

8. Essential Qualifications and experience: Master in Economics /Sociology/ Population Studies/ Psychology/ or related subjects.

9. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Working Experience of 3 years

10. Accommodation: Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided and campus accommodation may be provided to married students subject to availability.

1. Selection Process: Written Test and Personal Interview

2. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project. The Shortlisted candidates called for the interview will be intimated by 15th December 2021.
