The National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE), has released an official notification for the recruitment of 03 Project Officer and Project Assistant cum Accountant posts. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Officer (Social Audit)

• Essential: Post Graduation in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years grassroots experience with CSOs (Civil Society Organizations), with at least three years of experience in Social Audit. Experience in the development of guidelines and protocols for social audit, conducting training programs, preparation of training material, documentation, assessment reports, and research/evaluation studies (MIS). Excellent command over Hindi and English languages.
• Desirable: Computer proficiency with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & web surfing to search relevant data & documents. Excellent communication (Verbal & Written) and presentation skills.

Eligibility for Project Assistant cum Accountant

• Essential: B.Com with relevant 2 years of work experience in accounts-related works in the Government or Private Sector. Working knowledge of the PFMS (Public Financial Management System) system and proficiency in computer applications.
• Experience: 2 years of work experience in accounts.
• Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Salary / Stipend

• Project Officer (Social Audit): Rs. 75,000/- per month
• Project Assistant cum Accountant: Rs. 33,000/- per month

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 45 years (as on 10-01-2026)

Selection Process

Selection will be based on Shortlisting and Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
