Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts

Number of Vacancy: 13 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Professor:
(i) Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or allied / relevant disciplines.
(ii) Master degree in Civil Engineering or allied /relevant disciplines.
(iii) Ph.D. in the Civil Engineering or allied /relevant disciplines.
(iv) First class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or master’s level.

Associate Professor:
(a) Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or allied/relevant disciplines.
(b) Master degree in Civil Engineering or allied/relevant disciplines.
(c) Ph. D in Civil Engineering or allied/relevant disciplines.
(d) First class or equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science with 5 years’ experience in any University / Research Institution Library.

Section Officer: Graduate in any discipline.

Junior Secretariat Assistant: Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination and having minimum typing speed of 45 w.p.m.

Technician: School final or its equivalent (Class 10) with ITI (2 years) + 5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering or School final or its equivalent (Class 10) with 3 years Diploma + 2 years’ experience in Civil Engineering.

Pay Scale:
INR
19900-211800/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 55 Years.

Application Fee: Application Fee for Teaching posts, Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) and Non-teaching posts Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) in favour of the Director, NITTTR, Kolkata through online payment through NEFT/RTGS in the following SBI Account No. 10836428657, IFSC Code: SBIN0001612 of the Institute may be deposited. The application is considered as a submitted application only after the payment of fees. The fee once paid will not be refunded or readjusted under any circumstances. No fee is required for SC/ST, PwD category & Women candidates.
