Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Associate Professor

• Essential: Ph.D. degree and Six years after Ph.D. of which at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000. OR Nine years total working experience, of which three years should be after Ph.D., with at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000.
• Credit Points: Minimum 50 credit points.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor Grade I

• Essential: Ph.D. degree and Three years after Ph.D. or six years total teaching and research experience in reputed academic Institute or Research and Development Labs or relevant industry.
• Credit Points: Minimum 20 credit points.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor Grade II (Contract)

• Essential: Ph.D. degree.
• Credit Points: NIL.

General Eligibility & Documents

• All applicants must have a Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline and first class in the preceding degrees (Bachelors and Masters).
• Degrees must be from an Institute/University recognized by UGC/AICTE/AIU/GOI.
• Candidates must submit necessary documents including Gazettes, NOC, and Annexures (A, B, C, D, D1 to D22, E) as specified in the notification.
• Application Fee: Rs. 2,000/- for General/OBC/EWS; Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ST; No fee for Women/PwBD candidates.
