Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Faculty Posts

• Essential: First division both in UG and PG mandatory. PhD in relevant or equivalent discipline mandatory for new entrants.
• Engineering Departments: UG and PG in Engineering with PhD in relevant branch OR Integrated UG/PG with PhD OR UG with Integrated PG & PhD. Direct PhD after graduation allowed if B.E./B.Tech or PhD from CFTI.
• Physics / Chemistry: PhD with BSc/MSc or Integrated MSc with PhD.
• Mathematics & Computing: Specified combinations of B.Tech/M.Tech or B.Sc/M.Sc with PhD in relevant fields.
• Humanities & Management: PhD in Management with Bachelor's + MBA/PGDM or integrated Master's.
• Experience: Considered from fully funded Central Institutions, top NIRF-ranked institutions, state-funded institutions, QS/THE top 500 overseas, PDF (for Assistant Prof Level-12), R&D labs (CSIR/DRDO etc.), or industry (PSU/Private with >Rs.500 Cr turnover).

Age Limit

• Fresh appointment beyond the age of 60 years is discouraged except for faculty with exceptionally brilliant research/academic career and ongoing/approved externally funded research project(s).
