National Institute of Technology Manipur has released an advertisement for the engagement of an Internal Audit Officer on a contract basis. Eligibility Criteria

The institute has outlined two specific pathways for eligibility for the Internal Audit Officer post. Candidates must meet the criteria of either Pathway A or Pathway B.

Eligibility for Internal Audit Officer (Pathway A)

• Essential Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in any discipline. Candidates must be Retired Government Officers who have served as Senior Audit Officer/Accounts Officer or equivalent in AG/C&AG/Government/Semi-Government/PSUs/Central Educational Institutions.
• Experience: Extensive experience in auditing, accounts, establishment, pay fixation, pension rules, stores & purchase, construction works, research projects, etc. Minimum 5 years of service at the level of Senior Audit Officer/Accounts or equivalent.
• Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates retired as Senior Audit Officer of equivalent from AG/C&AG.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 65 years.

Eligibility for Internal Audit Officer (Pathway B)

• Essential Qualification: Minimum First Class in Master’s Degree in Commerce or Accountancy or MBA (Finance) or allied discipline. Sound knowledge of applicable statutory compliances related to Ministry of Education, Government of India, ICAI internal audit standards, Income Tax & GST compliances, GFR 2017, FRSR, handling of CAG Audit paras, and service rules.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years working experience as Jr. Assistant, Sr. Assistant, Assistant, Accountant, Sr. Accountant, Superintendent, or Senior Superintendent (including all years put in different posts) in Audit Wing or Finance & Accounts Department of Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI).
• Desirable: Sound knowledge of Tally ERP (latest version) and MS Excel.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years.
