National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DST-granted TDP Research Project. This is a temporary position for a duration of three years, offering a research opportunity in the development of advanced high-strength steels for automotive applications.

Candidates with B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degrees in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgical Engineering with first-class qualifications are eligible to apply. Interested candidates must send their completed application form via email before the deadline.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Essential Qualification:
  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Metallurgy with first class.
  • M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Metallurgy with first class.
• Desirable Qualification: Sound knowledge in mechanical behavior of materials & microstructure (but not limited to).
• Experience: Refer to official notification.

Salary / Stipend

• For 1st and 2nd Year: Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month.
• For 3rd Year: Rs. 42,000 + HRA per month.

Note: The position is purely temporary.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following criteria:

• A list of eligible candidates will be announced on the institute website.
