Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow

• Essential Qualification:
  • Category A: B.E./B.Tech. in Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering/Biosciences & Bioengineering/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry/Electrochemistry/Materials Science/Environmental Engineering (or related fields). CGPA ≥ 7.0/10 or 65% (GEN/OBC/EWS); CGPA ≥ 6.5/10 or 60% (SC/ST/PwD). Valid GATE or CSIR-NET score preferable.
  • Category B: M.Tech./M.Sc./M.S. (minimum 2-year program) in Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering/Biosciences & Bioengineering/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry/Electrochemistry/Materials Science/Environmental Engineering (or related fields). Minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA at UG & PG (GEN/OBC/EWS); Minimum 55% or 6.0 CGPA at UG & PG (SC/ST/PwD). Valid GATE or CSIR-NET score preferable.
• Desirable Qualification: Hands-on experience in culturing and maintenance of microorganisms/enzymes involved in CO2 reduction, Enzyme immobilization techniques and stability studies. Strong analytical skills for product analysis using HPLC / GC / IC / UV-Vis spectroscopy for formic acid and intermediates. Passion for research in biocatalysis, electrochemistry, or CO2 conversion technologies.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 28 years for the GEN/GEN-EWS category, 31 years for OBC-NCL, and 33 years for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates.

Salary/ Stipend

₹37,000 per month.

• Shortlisted candidates will have to attend an interview (ONLINE/OFFLINE).
