Educational Qualification: Diploma, DMLT
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following project positions for the project entitled “Effectiveness of Leprosy cases Detection Campaign being conducted under National Leprosy Eradication Program at Kanpur Nagar-An observational Study”. The project is funded by ICMR and executing agency is ICMR-NJIL&OMD, Agra
1. Post Name: Project Technician III (Field Worker)

3. Essential qualification: 12th Pass in Science Subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or PMW or Radiology/Radiography or related subject or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organisation or two years field/laboratory experience* or animal house keeping in Government recognized organization. *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3years experience
4. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- P.M. fixed without any other allowances at present
5. Desirable qualification/Experience: The Nature of duties in the project involves extensive field work so it is desirable that the person should be well versed with field related activities like survey methodologies, interacting with communities and filling of survey forms/two years of field experience from a recognized organization.
6. Nature of duties: Community-based Field Surveys
7. Place of work ICMR-NJIL&OMD-MRHRU Ghatampur, Kanpur, (Uttar Pradesh).
8. Tenure Initially for 6 months and extendable as per need and rules.

How to Apply:
1. Application received after 04.01.2022, 5:30 p.m. will not be accepted in any circumstance.
2. Applications have to be submitted by date 04.01.2022 till 5:30 p.m. on the e-mail id [email protected] Candidates may download the Notification and Application form from www.icmr.nic.in / www.jalma-icmr.org.in.
3. The candidates should download the application form as provided with the notification. Fill the form, paste your recent photo on it and send a scanned copy to the e-mail id [email protected]. before 04.01.2022, 5:30 p.m.
4. The candidates should also submit photocopies (self-attested) of all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), experience, Aadhaar Card, Community and PH Certificates along with the application.
5. The date of interview/written test will be informed later. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Written Test / Interview. The candidates will bring the original certificates for verification on date of interview/written test. If any of the essential certificates is missing the application will be similarly rejected. No plea/ excuse will be entertained in such cases.

National Jalma Institute of Leprosy and other Microbial Diseases (NJILMOD) was established on 1st April 1976. This was named as Central JALMA Institute for Leprosy in 1976 and has been renamed as "National Jalma Institute of Leprosy and other Mycobacterial Diseases" in 2005.
The Institute has completed 37 years of its existence under ICMR. The Institute has a major thrust on leprosy, relevant areas of tuberculosis and other mycobacteriosis, HIV and Filariasis etc. The Institute has state of the art facilities like BSL-3 labs, DNA chip lab, Proteomics Lab, all well-equipped laboratories, modern hospital at Ghatampur as well as Agra. The Institute has established its leadership in all important aspects of leprosy and mycobacterial research.
Jalma Agra Vacancy has been declared for the following posts Research Associate (RA) (SC), Research Associate (RA) (OBC), Technician (Physiotherapy), Microbiologist. Jalma Agra recruitment if for the following posts - Lab Technician, Technician-C, Project Assistant (PA).
Candidates can pursue courses in Ph.D in the relevant subject Or Master's degree in the relevant subject, Masters of Physiotherapy in Ortho (MPT. Ortho), Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT), MD (Microbiology) or M.
