NHM Chandigarh Specialist Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for Medicine & Surgery Posts

National Health Mission (NHM) Chandigarh has invited applications for the recruitment of Specialists on a temporary basis. This is a walk-in interview opportunity for candidates holding MBBS with MD/MS/DNB or Diploma in Medicine or Surgery. The recruitment is for empanelment under the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM).

Vacancy Details

Eligibility for Specialist (Medicine)

• Essential: MBBS Degree with MD/DNB/Diploma in Medicine from Recognized University.
• Registration: Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Desirable: Experience in relevant field. CCC+ (Course on Computer Concepts Plus) for 120 hours.

Eligibility for Specialist (Surgery)

• Essential: MBBS Degree with MS/DNB/Diploma in Surgery from Recognized University.
• Registration: Should be registered with State Medical Council or with Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Desirable: Experience in relevant field. CCC+ (Course on Computer Concepts Plus) for 120 hours.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Up to 62 years.
• Minimum age limit is not mentioned.

Salary Details

• Honorarium: Rs. 2,000/- per slot of two hours.
• Maximum earning: Rs. 4,000/- per day (if working 2 slots).
• Payment made monthly based on slots worked.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through a Walk-In-Interview. Registration is strictly between 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The Mission Director reserves the right to cancel the interview without assigning any reason.
