Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Qualification: Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Council of India.
• Registration: Candidate must hold a permanent registration under the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council (TCMC) or the Kerala Medical Council. Candidates holding only provisional registration should not assume they are eligible, as the notification specifies permanent registration only.
• Age Limit: Candidate must not be above 62 years as on 01 October 2026. No age relaxation clause is mentioned in the notification. The upper ceiling of 62 years means recently retired doctors from the State or Central services can also apply.
