Educational Qualification: B.Sc
Applications are invited for Research Nurse Post for recruitment on purely temporary and contractual basis under The Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) funded project titled "To establish a ready network of clinical trial units across the National Cancer Grid to promote multi-centric collaborative research in the field of drug and device development". This study aims to set up a research lab to conduct Clinical Trials across a spectrum of cancers.

5. Monthly Salary (Rs): 15,000/-
6. Role in the subject:
a) Ensures compliance with each study's protocol by providing thorough review and documentation at each subject study visit.
b) Participates in recruitment and selection of study participants by interviewing and documenting medical history to determine compliance with eligibility requirements.
c) Performs medical tests, including but not limited to vital signs, imaging studies and electrocardiograms. Administer investigational medication and performs patient assessments during clinical visits to determine presence of side effects; notifies Principal Investigator of findings, issues.
d) Provides patient education and medical information to study patients to ensure understanding of proper medication dosage, administration and disease treatment. Document medical data in patient chart to capture protocol requirements

Selection Procedure
1. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated (through NEIGRIHMS website).
2. All the posts are purely temporary, on contractual basis. The appointment will be initially for a period of 6 months which may be renewed depending on performance of the candidate and extension of the project from the funding agency.
3. Shortlisted candidates must bring along all relevant documents related to their qualifications & experience in original and submit one set of photocopied and attested copies of the same and one passport size recent photograph. The Candidates not producing the Original Certificates at the time of interview will not be considered.
4. Date of determination of eligibility (age) will be as on the last date of online applications.
5. The terms and conditions of contract appointment shall be governed by the contractual bond of Agreement agreed upon by the Institute and the employee concerned.
6. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview and the qualifications
7. Candidates not arriving on time will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

Recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in 2000, NEIGRIHMS is also a unique 'Centre of Excellence' for medical education and human health resource development, a status conferred by Parliament in 2007.
