Educational Qualification:
Lab Technician: 10+2 with Diploma in Medical Lab Technology/BSc MLT or equivalent Or DMLT and one year experience from a recognized institution Candidate with experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
Data Entry Operator: 10+2 with a Diploma in Computer Applications/Bachelor of Computer Applications or equivalent Candidate with 2 years of experience will be preferred.

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute Of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) stands as a premier super-specialty teaching and referral institute equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Established in 1987 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, it holds the distinction of being the first central government health institution in the North East. As an autonomous body registered under the Meghalaya Societies Act 1983, NEIGRIHMS plays a pivotal role in medical advancement and public welfare.
Institute of National Importance & Excellence
Recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in 2000, NEIGRIHMS is also a unique 'Centre of Excellence' for medical education and human health resource development, a status conferred by Parliament in 2007. Located on a sprawling 273-acre lush green campus in Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, the institute operates a tertiary care hospital and offers graduate, postgraduate, and post-doctoral courses affiliated with the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). It houses a Medical College and a Nursing College recognized by the Medical Council of India and Indian Nursing Council, awaiting full Deemed University status.
