Eligibility Criteria for NSUT Faculty Posts

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Engineering/Technology - ME/Civil)

• Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
• Experience: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Architecture)

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture AND M.Arch. or Master Degree in allied area, with FIRST Class at either of the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Experience: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Management Studies)

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration / PGDM / C.A./ ICWA/ M. Com. with First Class or equivalent.
• Experience: Two years of professional experience after acquiring the degree of Master’s degree.

Eligibility for Associate Professor (Engineering/Technology)

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
• Experience: At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals AND minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D experience.

Eligibility for Associate Professor (Architecture)

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D degree in Architecture or allied area and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
• Experience: At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals AND minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D experience OR thirteen years of Practice Experience.

Eligibility for Associate Professor (Management Studies)

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
• Experience: At least total 6 research publications in SCI/SCIE/SSCI Indexed journals / ABDC’s “A or B rated journals” or UGC / AICTE approved list of journals AND minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D experience.

Age Limit (as on 19-01-2026)

• Assistant Professor: 35 years
• Associate Professor: 50 years
