Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- MBBS from a recognized University/Institution.
- Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS) / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institution.
- Must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) for MBBS.
- Critical: Candidate must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency previously.
2. Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 years.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules:
- OBC: +3 years (Max age 48 years).
- SC/ST: +5 years (Max age 50 years).
- PwD: +5 years additional relaxation over category limits.
Selection Process
This recruitment is conducted strictly based on a Walk-in Interview. There is no written examination.
- Document Verification: Eligible candidates will be screened based on their documents.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for the interview on 09 March 2026.
Salary / Stipend
Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated salary as per Level 11 of the Pay Matrix:

Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital was commissioned in April 1986 as one of the seven 100 bedded hospitals planned by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi during the 6th five year plan under Special component plan for Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes. Later bed strength was increased to 300 beds in 2010.The hospital has 150 bedded complex dedicated exclusively to Maternity (100 Beds) & Pediatrics (50 beds).
The hospital now caters to the health needs of a population approx. 35-40 lakh residing in the resettlement colonies of Mangol Puri, Sultan Puri, Nangloi, Mundka, Aman Vihar, Pachim Vihar, Prem Nagar, Kanjhwala, Punjabi Bagh, Nihal Vihar and Kirari assembly constituencies etc. and migratory population of neighbouring states such as Haryana, Uttar pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab etc.
The Hospital is providing free health care facilities of OPD, Indoor, Casualty & Emergency services of all common specialties along with free drug distribution and investigations for patients. At present it is managing a patient load of about 2600-2800 OPD patients per day and bed Occupancy of 139%.
