Educational Qualification: M.Sc
CSIR - North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, is a multidisciplinary institute having research areas like Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Materials Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Geological Sciences, Advanced Computation and Data Sciences etc. The institute is equipped with sophisticated state-of-art analytical and other equipment to carry out research activities in frontier areas of science & technology. Presently wide-ranging research activities are being carried out in CSIR projects as well as externally funded projects. There is a requirement of Project Staff with the following specialization:

3. Project Title: Establishment of BioNEST Bioincubator Facility at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat
4. Project Period: Upto 15-09-2024

6. Essential Qualification: MSc in Life Sciences. Experience: At least 2 years of experiences in Industries / R&D / Educational Institutes. Prior experiences of mentoring innovators / start-ups is must. (Candidate, without any experiences in providing mentorship for innovators/ startups may not apply)
7. Desirable: PhD in Management/Engineering/Science. Knowledge of protection and transfer of intellectual property rights, knowledge of innovation/start-up funding, network in the innovation ecosystem of north-eastern India
8. Remuneration: Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month

6. Essential Qualification: MSc in Life Science Experience: At least 2 years of experiences in Industries / R&D / Educational Institutes and must be familiar with handling of Scientific Equipment’s as required in a Biological incubation centre.
7. Desirable: PhD in Engineering/Science. Prior experiences at technology business incubators / start-ups etc. is desirable.
8. Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month

Selection Procedure
1. The applicants will be subjected to the short listing by the Project Team based on the Academic performances and experiences and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
