North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited is a Schedule –‘A’ "Mini Ratna" Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The Corporation is engaged in planning, designing & executing power projects of hydro, thermal & Solar and entering into Wind Energy Projects. The Corporation propose to engage 56 (Fifty six)) apprentices for FY 2021-22 under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for a period of two (2) years apprenticeship training in the following trades for its different Plants/Projects/ Establishments:

6. Eligibility Criteria for Application: The candidate should be a resident of North East India. The candidate should have completed ITI course. The candidate must have Aadhaar Card/ Driving Licensel Pan Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport which is required for online registration. Reservation for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Classes (NCLY Persons with Disability/ Economically Weaker Section, will be as per existing Govt. of India rules.

Selection Procedure
1. Selection shall be based on merit as per mark secured in ITI course as mentioned against each Apprentice posts.
2. First preference shall be given to candidates belonging to the State in which the Establishment/ Power Plant (s) is/ are located. After allocation of seats to candidates belonging to the state, if no sufficient candidates are found; selection for rest nos. of seats shall be based on the merit as per marks secured in the ITI course by the candidates belonging to other NE states of domicile.
3. List of selected candidates will be made available at www.neepco.co.in. The call letters will be sent through their registered email only.
How to Apply:
1. ‘Closing of online application (through NAPS portal) 17-02-2022
2. Last date of receipt of filled up applications form along with testimonials and documents via email 24-02-2022
3. After submitting the online application, the applicant should download the NEEPCO Apprenticeship Application Form FY 2021-22 (For ITI Trade) from the Corporation website, take a print out and fill up all the relevant information(s) and send the duly filled form via email to [email protected] along with self-attested scan copies in PDF format of the following relevant documents i.e. ITI Pass Certificate, Marksheet (s), Age Proof (HSLC Certificate or Birth Certificate), Caste /PwD Certificate (valid OBC (NCL) Certificate) to claim for reservation, etc, so as to reach this office within the specified deadline.
4. Candidates must apply online and no other mode of application will be accepted.
5. The Candidates must get himself / herself enrolled / registered with National Promotion Scheme (NAPS), through online enrolment at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and poses a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment.

Incorporated in 1976 to plan, investigate, design, construct, generate, operate & maintain power stations in the North Eastern Region of India under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NEEPCO is conferred with the Schedule A- Miniratna Category-I CPSE status and operates 6 hydro, 3 thermal and 1 solar power stations with a combined installed capacity of 2057 MW. NEEPCO commissioned its largest Hydro Project Kameng(600 MW) in the N.E. Region, Commercial operation of Unit-I (150MW) was declared w.e.f. 00:00 hours of 17.06.2020, Commercial operation of Unit-II (150 MW) was declared w.e.f. 00:00 hours of 01.07.2020, Commercial operation of Unit-III (150 MW) was declared w.e.f. 00:00 hrs of 22.01.2021 and Unit-IV was declared w.e.f. 00:00 hrs of 12.02.2021.
