3. Duration: One Semester

4. Essential Qualification (EQ):

a. Candidates should have good academic record with Master’s degree in the relevant or cognate or allied subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade point for General/OBC/EWS category and minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade point for SC/ST category.

b. the relevant subjects are folkloristics, cultural studies, and folklore studies and the cognate and allied subjects are anthropology, sociology, history and English and for music, painting/fine arts/visual arts respectively. Besides, the candidates must have NET qualification or cleared similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET in the concerned subject

5. Desirable Qualification (DQ):

Candidates having Ph. D. degree in the relevant or cognate/allied subjects will be given additional preference. Besides, candidates should have good publications and academic activities with minimum 3 years of teaching experience, part time or full time, at the P.G. or P.G. Diploma level.

6. The honorarium for guest faculty will be as per the revised rates, i.e., Rs. 1500/- per class subject to maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Selection Procedure

1. The short-listed candidates’ names will be posted on the university website. Also, short-listed candidates will be informed for interview by email and over phone.

2. The candidates called for interview will not be given any TA/DA

3. The candidates should bring their original documents for verification at the time of interview.
