Educational Qualification: M.A
1. Position: Research Associate
2. Number of vacancies: One
3. Project: NHRCI funded research project entitled Commercialization of Non-Timber Forest Product: Determinants and Supply Chain in India'.
4. Project duration: One year (not extendable)
5. Chief Responsibilities: to conduct literature reviews, collect secondary data, prepare questionnaires for primary data collection, visit the field area, analyze data (both secondary and primary) using different software particularly SPSS or STATA, write project report& publications, and other project related work.
6. Location: Department of Economics, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada, Mayurbhanj, Odisha.
7. Requirements: Candidates with Master's degree, preferably in Economics and allied disCipline. A good understanding of issues related to NTFP commercialization/marketing and supply chain. Good written & verbal communication skills in English, and experience in report writing.
8. Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with NHRC norms (30,000/- per month).
