The National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC), operating under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, plays a pivotal role in the nation's public health infrastructure. It administers the comprehensive National Vector Borne Diseases Control Programme (NVBDCP), targeting critical health challenges such as Malaria, Japanese Encephalitis (JE), Dengue, Chikungunya, Kala-azar, and Lymphatic Filariasis. For aspirants seeking meaningful careers, NCVBDC recruitment offers an opportunity to contribute directly to national health objectives.
With a firm commitment to public welfare, the NCVBDC is driving targeted initiatives for the elimination of Malaria, Lymphatic Filariasis, and Kala-azar. As these diseases are outbreak-prone and climate-sensitive, the organization ensures robust surveillance and rapid response mechanisms. By securing a position here, candidates join a vital workforce dedicated to national development and safeguarding community well-being. Whether you are preparing for government jobs via SSC or state-level exams, this sector offers stable public sector careers.
While the States and Union Territories handle on-ground implementation, the NCVBDC provides essential technical and financial support through the National Health Mission (NHM). The organization maintains a network of 17 Regional Offices for Health and Family Welfare (ROH & FW) located at state headquarters. These offices are staffed by technical personnel who coordinate national health programs through field visits and liaison. For those tracking the latest sarkari naukri in the health sector, the NCVBDC offers roles that involve entomological studies, drug resistance monitoring, quality control of blood slides, and capacity building. This structure ensures that NCVBDC recruitment drives are aligned with finding skilled professionals to manage these specialized technical responsibilities.
