ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) is one of the largest integrated Petrochemical Complexes in South Asia, located in the port town of Dahej, Gujarat. The complex is equipped with world- class technology with an annual capacity of 2.0 million tonnes of wide portfolio of petrochemicals viz. HDPE, LLDPE, PP, Benzene, Butadiene, Pyrolysis Gasoline, CBFS etc.

1. Post Name: Head - Materials Management

2. Level: Assistant Vice President

3. Minimum Years of Experience: 24 Years

4.  Annual CTC Range: Rs. 36.00 - 48.00 Lakhs

5. Place of Posting : Dahej

6. Broad Job Profile:

a. The incumbent shall lead the Materials Management function and shall report to MD, OPaL. He/She shall be accountable for developing long term cost effective procurement strategies, planning and managing material requirements, inventory management, service contracts, develop vendor relations,

b. conduct annual supply / demand analysis for all procurement of services, materials, chemicals etc. including feed i.e. Naphtha, LPG, LNG etc. His/her responsibilities also include signing-off departmental strategy, identify spend categories, perform spend analysis and

c. actively seek opportunities for saving through spend optimization/long term agreements etc. He/She should possess strong knowledge of RFQ/ bidding/ tendering process, supplier negotiations and selections, international contracts/commercials/imports, SAP MM/SRM module, supplier relationship management and experience of contract management.

7. Desired Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor of Engineering Degree OR MBA (2 Years Full Time) with specialization in SCM/ Materials Management /Operations and minimum experience of 24 years including Materials Management for a large organization of repute at senior level. Candidate with First class degree in the mentioned qualification and relevant experience in Petrochemical / Refinery/ Chemical / Fertilizer Industries will be given preference.
