Candidates must verify and arrange the following documents in chronological order prior to submitting their application:

✅ Bio-data / Proforma: Duly completed, signed application form (per notification format).
✅ Original Certificates: 10th / Matriculation (DOB proof), Essential Degrees & Marksheets.

Skills / Eligibility

Power System Operation Corporation Ltd. (POSOCO), a Govt. of India Enterprise, under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, is a Knowledge based organization of National importance. It is responsible for managing the Power System Operations - a mission critical activity, with security, economy and reliability.

i. To achieve this, it has adopted a multidisciplinary approach with state-of-the-art technology. It ensures equitable use of Transmission Infrastructure and has invested significantly in its human capital and towards strengthening the whole power system faculty.

ii. It operates the North Eastern Regional Load Despatch Centre and the five Regional Load Despatch Centers. Its North Eastern Regional Load Despatch Centre (Lower Nongrah, Lapalang, Shillong-793006) proposes to engage 06 Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for a period of one-year apprenticeship training in the following diploma trades

1. Post Name: Graduate Apprentices

2. No of Posts: 06

3 Duration of Training: 1 Year

4. Monthly Stipend (Rs.): 15000

5. Prescribed Qualification, Eligibility criteria:

i. Any Indian citizen passed out Graduate in Engineering in the concerned specialization from an institute recognized by AICTE, Govt. of India can apply.

ii. Candidates who have already registered /undergone /undergoing apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act elsewhere are not eligible to apply.

iii. Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), candidates passed out Graduate earlier than 2019 will not be able to apply for apprenticeship.

6. Duration of the training:

The duration of the training will be one year and contract would be terminated automatically after completion of the apprenticeship training period. Provisionally selected candidates have to give undertaking that after completion of training they will not ask for employment.

Pay Scale: INR 15000(Per Month)

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 28 years as on 10-01-2022. A relaxation in upper age is admissible as per the Govt. of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PH.

Selection Procedure

The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit based on their marks obtained in Graduation in Engineering. If two or more candidates secure equal marks while preparing merit list, then the candidate of higher age will be considered.

1. The last date to apply on the NATS portal http://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/ for the application is 10th January 2022. Application received after that date will not be considered.

2. Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria before submission of the online application.

3. Candidates are advised to register and apply online on http://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/

4. Valid registration number with National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal is compulsory to apply for the above positions.
