Educational Qualification:
a) Executive Trainee: Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) in the required discipline from recognized University/ Institute
b) Assistant Manager: Full Time M.Tech/ MS/ ME / M.Sc (Engg.)/IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) in the required discipline from recognized University/ Institute with Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) from recognized University/ Institute.

1. “The Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria and/or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Group Discussion & Personal Interview, if so required.”
2. The decision of POSOCO regarding scrutiny of application and shortlisting shall be final and binding.
3. The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE2022, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Eligible candidates will have to appear in the corresponding paper of GATE-2022 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE).
4. Candidates qualified in corresponding paper of GATE-2022 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE) shall only be eligible to apply for the posts of Assistant Manager (Power System) and Executive Trainee (Electrical). Qualifying marks in GATE-2022 shall be as decided by GATE-2022 Organising Institute.
5. Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in corresponding paper of GATE-2022 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE). Candidates shall obtain information about their status through their candidate login at the POSOCO Online Application System. Shortlisted candidates shall be able to download their Group Discussion & Personal Interview call letter and other relevant documents through the candidate login.
6. Also, shortlisted candidates shall be required to bring the documents, as mentioned in their call letter, at the time of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates must qualify in the Personal Interview in order to be considered eligible for empanelment.
7. Empanelment of Candidates Candidates who qualify in the Personal Interview will only be adjudged suitable for empanelment. Therefore, it is reiterated that candidates who have qualified in GATE-2022 shall have to qualify Personal Interview separately in order to be considered eligible for empanelment.
8. Please note that only GATE-2022 scores (Normalized Marks out of 100) is valid for this recruitment process. GATE score of 2021 or prior is not valid.
9. The offer of appointment shall be issued to the suitable candidates in the order of category wise merit and based on the requirement. Selected candidates shall be notified through their candidate login in online application system.
10. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the Pre - Employment Medical Examination to be conducted as per POSOCO Norms and Standards of Medical Fitness.
1. In this regard, it is informed that Online Application Portal shall open at 00:00 hours on 24th May, 2022 and close at 23:45 hours on 23rd June, 2022.
2. All the interested candidates are hereby advised to submit their Online Application on or before stipulated Date and Time.
3. However, it is advised that the Application may be submitted much before the closing time i.e. 23:45 hours on 23rd June, 2022 (Thursday) and not to wait till the last date so as to avoid heavy traffic on the servers during the closing days.
