Post-Wise Vacancy & Per-Assignment Remuneration

Note: Remuneration is paid per assignment. A single assignment may span 2–3 days. The maximum number of bookings is 07 per month, limited to 84 in a calendar year. This is not a salaried post and no fixed number of bookings is guaranteed.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Archive Assistant: Graduation from a recognized university; proficiency in MS Excel, Bengali, and English. Desirable: One year experience in broadcasting, electronic/digital media, or digital archive related work.
• Post Production Assistant (Graphics): Degree/Diploma in Multimedia Animation / Motion Graphics. Desirable: Two years experience in TV / Doordarshan / Video Programme Production.
• Post Production Assistant (Editing): Professional Degree/Diploma in Video Editing from a recognized university/institute; proficiency with latest editing software such as Da Vinci. Desirable: Two years experience in TV / Doordarshan Programme.
• Video Assistant: Professional Degree/Diploma in Videography / Motion Picture Photography from a recognized university/institute. Desirable: Two years experience in TV / Doordarshan Programme.
• Social Media Editor: Graduation plus Degree/Diploma in Media Science / Multimedia & Animation / Digital Marketing. Mandatory: One year experience in professional social media page handling / digital marketing at a media house. Desirable: Knowledge of SEO.
• C.G. Operator: Graduation from a recognized university with Bengali typing speed of at least 30 words per minute. Desirable: Verifiable certificate in Computer Graphics / Graphic Designing.
• Resource Person (Programme): Class XII with three years experience in TV / Doordarshan Programme Production and Co-ordination OR Graduation with a professional Diploma in Radio & TV Programme Production / Mass Communication / Journalism. Desirable: Studio floor management experience.
• Resource Person (Lighting Assistant): Class XII with three years experience in TV / Doordarshan Programme Production and Co-ordination OR Graduation with a professional Diploma in Radio & TV Programme Production / Mass Communication / Journalism, plus experience in film/TV industry lighting arrangement.
• Broadcast Assistant (Commercial): Graduation in Commerce from a recognized university with computer proficiency. Desirable: One year experience in accounts, advanced Excel, and Tally software.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• All applications will be scrutinized by DDK Kolkata.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stage of the selection process.
• The selection process may consist of several steps – skill test / written test / personality test – depending upon the category, as deemed feasible.
• Selection will be done by a constituted Selection Committee. The decision of the Committee will be final and irrevocable.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for any stage of the selection process.
• Empanelment confers no right to regular bookings or any advantage in selection for regular posts.
• Canvassing in any form is strictly prohibited and renders candidates ineligible.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree, Diploma, and Consolidated Mark Sheets for the relevant qualification.
• Experience Certificates on official letterhead (if applicable).
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• Two recent passport-size photographs and a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
