Applications are invited for a Project Associate-I position under DST-SERB project (Principal Investigator: Dr. Radhakanta Das, Project Title: “Innovative Approaches to Test of Hypothesis for Manifold Data in Mathematical Statistics") funded by DST-SERB, Government of India.
1. Position: Project Associate-I
2. No of Post: 01
3. Project Duration: 3 Years
4. Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- per month (in first 2 years for Project Associate-I position) and Rs. 28000/- per month (in third year for Project Associate-II position) + HRA (as per university norms & DST-SERB guidelines).
5. Essential Qualification:
a. The candidate must have Masters Degree in Statistics from recognized University with good academic records. Also the candidate must have sufficient knowledge on LaTeX software (for document preparation) and statistical software including R-packages (for computation and graphics).
b. If the candidate qualifies NET (lectureship) during project then this project work can be converted into his/her Ph.D. thesis and in such case the candidate can register for Ph.D. degree (Statistics) in Presidency University, Kolkata
Pay Scale:
INR
25000 - 28000(Per Month)
