Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Junior Assistant: Minimum General Educational Qualification (SSLC pass from a recognized school).
  • Store Keeper: SSLC pass from a recognized school.
  • Typist: SSLC pass + Typewriting Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil & English (or combinations) + Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation.
  • Skilled Assistant Grade – II: ITI / NTC / NAC in appropriate trade (Fitter, Weaver, etc.).
  • Laboratory Assistant: ITI / NTC / NAC in appropriate trade.
  • Lecturer (Engineering Disciplines): B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. in relevant discipline – First class or equivalent OR Bachelor’s + Master’s degree in relevant discipline with First class in either.
  • Lecturer (Mathematics/Physics): Master’s degree in appropriate subject – First class or equivalent OR Master’s degree + NET / SLET / SET.
  • Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science – First class + NET or equivalent OR Master’s + NET/SLET/SET.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age calculated as of 01 July 2026.

1. For Junior Assistant, Store Keeper & Typist Posts:

  • SC / ST / SC(A) / DW: 18 to 37 Years
  • MBC / SC / BCM / BC: 18 to 34 Years
  • Others: 18 to 32 Years

2. For Skilled Assistant Grade – II & Laboratory Assistant Posts:
