Educational Qualification:
Workshop Supervisor and Store Keeper (Consultant):
i. 10+2 or equivalent qualification.
ii. Diploma / Certificate in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
iii. 2 years relevant experience.
Clinical Assistant (Consultant):
i. B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) equivalent
ii. 2 years relevant experience
iii. Registration with RCI
Vocational Instructor (Consultant):
i. Higher Secondary with Diploma in Vocational Training / D.Ed. / B.Ed. / PG Diploma in Special Education / Equivalent course recognized by RCI.
ii. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
iii. Registration with RCI.
Special Educator / Orientation & Mobility Instructor (Consultant):
i. Graduation with Diploma / B.Ed. / PG Diploma in Special Education or equivalent.
ii. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
iii. Registration with RCI.
Accountant (Consultant):
i. Commerce Graduate from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer and Tally.
ii. Minimum 3 years of experience in handling accounts / cash in Govt. Establishment / Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertaking /Semi Government / Quasi Government.
Rehabilitation Officer (Consultant):
i. Post Graduate Degree in Social Work / Sociology / MDRA / Psychology or equivalent from recognized University.
ii. Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
Administrative Officer (Consultant):
i. Post Graduate Degree/MBA from recognized University.
ii. Minimum 5 years of experience in establishment / admin matters in any Govt. organization / Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertaking /Semi Government / Quasi Government.
Lecturer (Occupational Therapy) (Consultant):
i. Master’s in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institute (Full time).
ii. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching / research in related field.
Assistant Professor (Clinical Psychology) (Consultant):
i. M.Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (Full time course) (Recognized by RCI).
ii. Registration with RCI.
iii. Minimum 5 years experience in teaching / research in related field.
Assistant Professor (PMR) (Consultant):
i. MBBS.
ii. PG Degree / Diploma in PMR / Peadiatrics.
iii. Registration with MCI.
iv. Minimum 2 years experience.
Pay Scale:
INR
35000-75000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 56 Years.

1. Rs. 500/- for General, Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
2. Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) are exempted from payment of fee for all posts.

PDUNIPPD is an autonomous organization under the administrative and financial control of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
The institute was initially established in 1960 as a non-governmental organization under the name “Institute for the Physically Handicapped (IPH)” by the Society for Crippled and Handicapped. It came into existence when the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and other allied institutions, run by the Council for the Aid of Crippled and Handicapped, were taken over by the Government of India on 22nd May 1975. It was converted into an autonomous body in 1976 and registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
In 2002, the institute was renamed as Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped (PDUIPH) and later in 2016 as Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (Divyangjan).
