The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 12 Protection Officer posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply Offline through the official RPSC website. The last date to submit the application form is 22 February 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Protection Officer

• Essential Qualification: Law Graduate (LL.B) OR Masters in Social Work (MSW) from a University established by law in India.
• Language: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
• Provisional Candidates: Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the required educational qualification are also eligible to apply, but must produce proof of passing before the competitive examination.

Salary/Stipend

• Pay-Matrix Level: L-11 (Grade Pay -4200/-).
• Probation Period: During the probation period, a fixed monthly salary (Fix Pay) will be payable as per State Government rules.

Age Limit

• As on: 01 January 2027
• Minimum Age: 18 years.
• Maximum Age: 40 years.
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Male of Rajasthan; 10 years for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Female of Rajasthan; 5 years for General Female. One-year additional age relaxation is granted due to non-advertising. No upper age limit for Widows and Divorced women.

• General / Backward Classes (Creamy Layer) / More Backward Classes (Creamy Layer): Rs. 600/-
• Reserved Category (SC / ST / BC-NC / MBC-NC / EWS / Sahariya) of Rajasthan State: Rs. 400/-
• Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan): Rs. 400/-
• Candidates from outside Rajasthan: Considered General Category (Rs. 600/-).

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected through a written competitive examination (Offline/Online).
• The exam will be objective type (MCQs).
• Negative marking is applicable (1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer).
• Minimum passing marks: 40% in each paper.
• Merit list based on written exam marks.

1. Apply online via the RPSC website https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or SSO Portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process.
3. Fill the detailed online application form, upload a live photo, signature, and left thumb impression scan.
4. Pay the non-refundable OTR/application fee online.
5. Take a printout of the final submitted application form.
