Eligibility for Assistant Professor (All Disciplines)

• Essential Qualification: PhD with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout.
• For Assistant Professor Grade-II (Contract): Fresh PhD candidates will be appointed on a contract basis for the first three years. Experience gained during PhD will not be considered.
• Degree Requirement: Applicants for engineering disciplines must possess a B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline.
• Experience: As per the Institute norms for promotion to Grade-I after one year of experience (excluding PhD period).

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Fire & Safety Engineering)

• Essential Qualification: PhD in relevant discipline with first class.
• Areas of Specialization: Health, Safety & Environment, Industrial Safety, Fire and Safety Engineering, Fire Engineering, Safety Engineering and Analytics, Fire Science, Risk Assessment and Prevention in Fire Engineering, Modeling and Simulation of Fire or Explosion.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Computer Science and Engineering)

• Essential Qualification: PhD in relevant discipline with first class.
• Areas of Specialization: Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, Data Science, Operating Systems, Scripting Language, Database Management System, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Programming.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Electrical Engineering)

• Essential Qualification: PhD in relevant discipline with first class.
