Skills / Eligibility

It is proposed to fill up one (01) vacant post of Professor cum Vice Principal in Pay Level-12 (Rs. of the Pay Matrix (Pay Band-3 with Grade Pay Rs. 7600] in pre-revised scale of pay) in Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi by Promotion failing which by

i. deputation (including short-term contract) basis from the officers of Central or State Government or Union Territories or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi- Government or staturoty or Autonomous Organisations:-

1. Post Name: Professor cum Vice Principal

2. No of Post: 01

3. Pay Scale: Level 12 - 78800-209200

4. (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the Parent Cadre/ Department; or
(ii) with five years' service in Level-II in the pay matrix or equivalent

5. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

Essential: 

(i) Masters Degree in Nursing from a recognized University;

(ii) Registered as a Nurse and Midwife with a State Nursing Council;

(iii) Twelve years experience with M.Sc. (Nursing) out of which ten years should be teaching experience with Minimum of five years in Collegiate Programme;

(iv) Three years experience in administration in Nursing in State or Union Territories or Central Government.

6. Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D. in Nursing

Pay Scale: INR 78800 - 209200(Per Month)

Age Limit: As Per Rules

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on deputation (including short-term Contarct) Basis
