It is proposed to fill up one (01) vacant post of Professor-cum-Principal in Pay Level- 13 (Rs.1,23,100-2,15,900/-) of the Pay Matrix (Pay Band-4 with Grade Pay Rs. 8700] in pre-revised scale of pay) in Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi by Composite method (on deputation (including short-term contract) plus Promotion) basis from the officers of Central or State Government or Union Territories or staturoty or Autonomous Organisations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Research Institutions:-

1. Name of the Post: Professor-cum-Principal

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary: Pay Level- 13 (Rs.1,23,100-2,15,900/-) of the Pay Matrix (Pay Band-4 with Grade Pay Rs. 8700] in pre-revised scale of pay)

4. Qualification: 

(A) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the Parent Cadre/ Department; or

(ii) with five years' service rendered after appointnent thereto on regular basis in Level-12 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department And

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Masters Degree in Nursing from a recognized University;

(ii) Registered as a Nurse and Midwife with State Nursing Council; And

(C) Experience:

(iii) Fifteen years experience with M.Sc. (Nursing) out of which twelve years should be teaching experience with Minimum of five years in Collegiate Programme;

(iv) Three years experience in administration in Nursing in State or Union Territories or Central Government.

5. Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D. in Nursing
