RITES Assistant Manager (Mechanical) Vacancy Details 2026

RITES Limited aims to fill a total of 24 vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager (Mechanical) under VC No. RG/11/26. The category-wise distribution is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for RITES Assistant Manager (Mechanical) 2026

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology in Mechanical/Production/Production & Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Railways/Mechatronics & Automobile, or a combination of the above, recognized by AICTE from a University incorporated by an Act of Central or State legislature.

• UR/EWS candidates (and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD candidates applying against unreserved posts) should have a first-class degree/minimum 60% marks.
• Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD) should have at least 50% marks for consideration against reserved posts.

Experience Required

Candidates should have at least 2 years’ post-qualification outdoor work experience in the field of production, mechanical maintenance, or other mechanical engineering areas, having worked at a project site, factory or plant during this period. Training, internship, teaching, academic or PhD research experience shall NOT be counted; however, Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 in the relevant discipline may be considered.

Age Limit

Maximum age: 32 years as on 17 August 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC-NCL: 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Years of service rendered + 3 years
• J&K Domicile: 5 years
• PwBD: 10 years (in addition to relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL)
• RITES regular/contract employees: 5 years
