Research Associates (RAs)

Number of Vacancy: 11 Posts

Educational Qualification: Group-A Biophysical Sciences: Fresh PhD with working experience in one or more of the following areas: Structure, Dynamics and Function of Biological macromolecules; Cell and Molecular Biology; Molecular Dynamics Simulation; Physical Chemistry. Group-B Atomic, Nuclear, and High Energy Physics: Candidates with Ph.D degrees in the field of Experimental Atomic/ Nuclear/ Laser/ Astro-particle/ High Energy Physics and Phenomenology of Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions/properties of strongly interacting matter in a magnetic field. Group-C Theoretical Physics: The candidate is expected to work independently and conduct research in fields highly interdisciplinary of String theory & gravity, Condensed matter physics and Multi-messenger astrophysics. Group-D Condensed Matter, Surface Physics and Material Science: The candidate is expected to work independently and conduct research in the highly interdisciplinary environment in x-ray scattering, namely diffraction from powders/ nanomaterials at different sample environment, x-ray reflectivity and diffuse scattering from thin films and multilayers. Experience in x-ray synchrotron beamline for the above-mentioned techniques will be preferable. The postdoc should be able to give users support for experiments at the SINP beamline, Indus-2, RRCAT.

Pay Scale: INR 58,000-61,000/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.
