Educational Qualification:
Horse Riding Instructor: Matriculate or equivalent and minimum 05 years experience as Riding Instructor.
Art Teacher: (i) Graduate with Drawing and Painting/Art/Fine Art with minimum of two years full-time diploma from a recognized institute. (ii) M.A. in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art from a recognised University. (iii) Higher Secondary /Intermediate /Senior Secondary examination with minimum 4 years full time diploma in painting / fine arts from a recognised institute.
PEM/PTI and Matron: Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) - Four years Degree Course OR Three years graduation + One year B.P.Ed Diploma OR B.Sc Physical Education, Health Education and Sports + One year B.P.Ed Diploma.
Music Teacher: (i) Graduate in Music from a recognised university. (ii) Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with degree or Diploma in Music from an institution recognized by State/Central Government.
Quarter Master: (i) B.A./B.Com (ii) At least 5 years experience as UDC Stores or as Quarter Master or an ExServiceman preferably a JCO with at least 10 years experience in handling and accounting of stores.

Sainik School, Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) was founded on 7 Aug 1961. It is one of the first five Sainik Schools started in various states by the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with respective State Governments under the aegis of the Sainik School Society.
The first batch of Class XI students of this School appeared for the Indian School Certificate Examination during Nov-Dec 1961. In 1968, the school changed over to the CBSE and offers only the Science stream at Senior Secondary level. It is also a member of the All India Public Schools Conference (IPSC).
The aim of Sainik School is to prepare boys Academically, Physically and Mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy; Develop qualities of Body, Mind, and Character which will enable the young boys of today to become good and useful citizens of tomorrow.
