The Foreigners Tribunal 8th, Goalpara, Government of Assam, invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in-Interview for the recruitment of 01 Copyist on a purely contractual basis. Candidates with Higher Secondary (10+2) Passed and a 6-month Diploma in Computer Application/IT with proficiency in English and Assamese typing are eligible. The Walk-in-Interview will be held on 10 September 2026 at the Conference Hall of Goalpara Municipality Board. The selected candidate will receive a fixed pay of ₹9,000/- per month. Selection will be based on a personal interview followed by a technical test for shortlisted candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen.
• Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) Passed from a recognized Board/Council.
• Computer Proficiency: 6 (Six) months Diploma Course in Computer Application/IT from a registered institution with good knowledge of software applications and proficiency in English and Assamese typing.
• Language: Good command over English and Assamese language with good handwriting.
• Employment Exchange: Name must be registered in the Government Employment Exchange.
• NOC: Candidates currently working must furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
• Preference: In case of equal marks, preference will be given to candidates who share the home district/local address with the Foreigners Tribunal.

Selection Process

• Walk-in-Interview: Personal Interview will be conducted on 10 September 2026.
• Shortlisting: A shortlist in a 1:10 ratio (post:person) based on the personal interview will be prepared and notified on the Goalpara District Administration website.
• Technical Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Technical Test.
• Final Result: The final result will be notified on the Goalpara District Administration website.
• No TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.

• Reporting Time: 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Candidates arriving after 12:30 PM will not be considered).
• Venue: Conference Hall of Goalpara Municipality Board, Kacharighat, Goalpara.

  • HS (10+2) or equivalent pass certificate & worksheet.
