Educational Qualification:
Research Scientist (RF & Microwaves): Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B. Tech.) or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology (M.E. or M. Tech.) in the field in Electronics/Telecommunications, Engineering with minimum 55% Desirable: 1 or 2 years’ experience in RF and Microwave.
Research Scientist (Physics): Master Degree in Science (M.Sc.) Physics from a recognized university OR B.Tech. (Engineering Physics) from IIT/NIT/Recognized Universities with minimum 55% marks.
Research Scientist (Physics): B.Sc. (Physics) from a recognized university with minimum of 55% marks.
Project Technician (Fitter): Candidate should have passed ITI (Fitter) from govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks.
Project Technician (Turner): Candidate should have passed ITI (Turner) from Govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks.
Project Technician (Machinist): Candidate should have passed ITI (Machinist) from Govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks.
Pay Scale:
INR
17000-32000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 30 Years.

SAMEER was set up as an autonomous R & D laboratory at Mumbai under the then Department of Electronics, Government of India with a broad mandate to undertake R & D work in the areas of Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology. It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH (TIFR), Mumbai. SAMEER, Mumbai was setup in 1984.
Centre for Electromagnetics, SAMEER Chennai which was under Department of Electronics (DOE) was merged with SAMEER in 1987.
Centre for Microwave & Millimeterwave, SAMEER Kolkata was set up in 1994.
Elecromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Laboratory, SAMEER Visakhapatnam was established in 2014.
Centre for High Power Microwave Tube and Component Technology, SAMEER Guwahati was established in 2015.
