Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications as per UGC/AICTE norms:

A. Arts, Social Sciences, Law, Criminology

• Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject.
• Mandatory: Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC.
• Exemption: Candidates with a Ph.D. degree obtained in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 (prior to 11th July 2009 or as amended) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

B. Engineering / Technology

• B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in both degrees.

C. Security Management

• Option 1: M.A./M.Sc. in Criminology with NET/SLET.
• Option 2: Retired professionals from Military, Para-Military, or Police (Must have been commissioned/Grade-I Officers).
• Note: NET/SLET is not required for Masters programmes in disciplines where NET/SLET is not conducted.

2. Age Limit

No specific age limit is mentioned in the notification for Guest Faculty. However, engagement is subject to physical fitness and university norms.

3. Mandatory Requirements

• PhD Requirement: Candidates without NET must possess a Ph.D. degree as per UGC norms.
