Eligibility Criteria for SSB GDMO & Specialist Recruitment
1. Educational Qualification
- GDMO: A recognized medical qualification included in the first/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (IMC Act, 1956). Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
- Specialist: A recognized medical qualification (as above) + Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty (Section-A or B of Schedule-VI or equivalent).
2. Experience
- Specialist (PG Degree): 1.5 years experience in the specialty after PG degree.
- Specialist (Diploma): 2.5 years experience in the specialty after Diploma.
3. Age Limit
Candidates shall not continue in the post once they attain 70 years of age.
4. Physical Fitness
Appointment is subject to medical examination by a Board of Medical Officers.
