Educational Qualification & Experience:Full-time regular Bachelor's Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline (or M.Sc. Chemistry for Chemical posts) from a recognized University/Institution. Requires 27/7/3 years of post-qualification executive experience in Erection/Commissioning and/or O&M of Coal-based Thermal Power Plants, including specific experience in Super Critical Thermal Power Plants of minimum 660 MW capacity.
Skills:Expertise in thermal power plant operations and maintenance, specifically in super-critical technology, project management, technical leadership, and relevant functional areas (e.g., TG, BOP, Fuel Management, Ash Utilization, C&I, etc.).
Age Limit:Maximum 55 years (E8), 36 years (E4), and 32 years (E2) as on the closing date. Age relaxation for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years), and others as per Government rules. Upper age limit inclusive of all relaxations shall not exceed 55 years.
Salary (per month):
IDA Pay Scale: E8(a): ₹1,20,000 - ₹2,80,000; E4: ₹70,000 - ₹2,00,000; E2: ₹50,000 - ₹1,60,000. Plus allowances, benefits, and performance-related pay.
Selection Procedure:
- Scrutiny of Applications: Based on job specifications.
- Screening Test (Optional): Qualifying in nature (if conducted).

- Personal Interview: Final merit is based purely on interview marks. Qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS/ESM and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC-NCL.
Application Fee: ₹500 + GST @18% for General/OBC/EWS candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates are exempted.
