Educational Qualification: M.Sc

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Essential Qualification: M. Sc. in Vegetable Science/Biotechenology / Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Biochemistry/ with NET

4. Desirable Qualification: Ph. D. in the concerned subject. Working experience on molecular markers and biochemicals. Well versed with vegetable breeding.

5. Emoluments per month: Rs. 31000/- + 16% HRA (1st & 2nd year) Rs. 35000/- + 16% HRA (3rd year)

6. Name of the Project: Collection and DNA profiling of nutritionally important underutilized vegetables of North Western Himalayas

7. Duties and Responsibilities: Collection of germplasm/farmers varieties, conducting respective vegetable crop experiments in the field, DNA profiling and biochemical characterization of collected germplasm, maintenance of germplasm, analysis of data, preparing reports for presentation at appropriate scientific platforms and performing other duties related to the project as assigned by PI from time to time for successful implementation of the projects.
