Educational Qualification: An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of Ten (10) research publications in the NAAS rated or Peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total Academic /Research/Extension score of 120 as per the criteria given in Annexure to this Notification.
Experience: A minimum of ten years of teaching and/or research and/or extension experience in the University as Assistant Professor-cum-Jr. Scientist/Associate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist/ Professorcum-Chief Scientist, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate or 05 postgraduate students.

Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/walkin interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as Professor and Chief Scientist in SKUAST K.
